Yes it's true In an Auction ,10-year-old second-hand Hermes Birkin bag has sold for USD 217,144 (Rs 1,46,74,700) in London, a new European record for the most expensive handbag sold at an auction.

The 2008 Himalaya Birkin, with an 18-carat white gold diamond encrusted lock, exceeded its list price of Pounds 100,000-150,000 (Rs 90,29,328-1,35,43,993) on Tuesday, reports the BBC.
